NewType Music has officially announced Solace Zeta’s newest project, You’re My Seeking EP, will be released on November 18th, 2025, and will then be available on all streaming platforms. The follow up to his July release, Glowing Rectangles EP, this newest project will be the second and final EP showcasing tracks and singles from the upcoming full album release, The Green Prototype, Vol. II (Emerald Fire). The new LP is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2026.
Similar to the previous EP, You’re My Seeking EP has seven tracks comprising different versions of the A side single, and B side bonus song, which pays homage to the days of music recordings released on vinyl records. Also like the previous EP, one of the songs features a fellow independent artist, longtime collaborator, baddogsbite, who has previously been featured on the tracks “Stars Align“ off of Epic Vertex’s The Apogee LP, as well as “Trans World Express“ (also featuring Thainy Spyce of Snow Monk) from The Green Prototype, Vol. I (Fire Emerald). The track listing for the new EP is presented below:
Track List

Expectations remain high for Solace Zeta’s follow up full-length album, Vol. II, as it marks a significant departure from his usual comfort zone. As Solace Zeta revealed, “This is probably the first time I really challenged myself to become comfortable with the discomfort, so to speak. I’m singing on a track, which is something I’m not generally open to doing because I’ve worked with so many singers, like Tiffany Ai, Fiona Gui, Thainy Spyce, Alana K., and High Key of Affliction Music, who are so much better at singing than I am. Obviously, I’m way, way more comfortable staying in my lane and rapping; but I said to myself, I can’t stay stagnant as an artist. I have to keep upping my game, evolving, and not being afraid to try new things, even if some folks hate it or wish I’d never done it. The thing is, you can’t develop yourself if you stay safe all the time. Sometimes you have to put yourself in a situation to challenge yourself to become better. This is also the first time I’ve tried my hand at producing a bit, and one of the tracks I arranged myself; so I’m stepping up to trying new things. Like with ‘Glowing Rectangles,’ the single on this EP, ‘You’re My Seeking,’ is meant to challenge me to try and make more radio friendly, kind of more mass appeal songs, if that makes sense. I’m sure my die-hard fans are fine with me just rapping my ass off for a whole album. Yet, I’ve come to find that to be valued and successful as an artist, you’ve got to be versatile. I realized I don’t really have any songs touching on love and romance, which is a subject I typically avoid because I feel it’s more synonymous with like pop or R&B, but what I eventually came around to was that, those are the kinds of songs a ton of people like hearing and listening to almost endlessly. And I thought to myself, how good of an artist am I if I can’t even make a song about love or romance? So, the single, ‘You’re My Seeking,’ is really about me challenging myself not only to make like a radio hit, but also tackle a love/romantic theme, and try to sing a bit without hardly any autotune, which is me really stepping outside of the box.”
When asked about whether there’s anything else they should know about the You’re My Seeking EP, Zeta smiles a wicked grin and says, “Yeah, here’s a secret I can share. So, the streaming platforms had a problem actually with our a cappella version of ‘The Chosen‘ because they said it had too much time with silence in it, which is so wack, my producer Sid Madrid and I were both like WTF? It’s an a cappella version of the song, of course it has silence in the beginning and end. But they kept rejecting it, probably because it’s a bot going through the music, not a person, because any person with a functioning brain would see and know that for what it is with a cappella meaning ‘using only the human voice to create all sounds.’ Anyway, it set the project release back by quite a bit. What we eventually did, which we didn’t want to do, because the whole point of having an a cappella version is so that other DJs, producers, and fans can take our lyrics and create remixes or put it to a different instrumental track for mixing, or on a radio show, or live set, etc. But because we had to cut off the silence at the beginning and end, and actually part of the middle too, it doesn’t line up with the actual track, which is so messed up. We really have a bone to pick with these streaming services jerking us artists around like that, but I’ll save my tirade for another time That said though, if you are a diehard fan and want to be able to do that kind of thing, you know, putting our lyrics over a different beat with our a cappella version of the song, I have a secret for you. If you go to our BandCamp and get the a cappella from there, it isn’t all butchered like for the streaming services, but is actually the real deal and lines up perfectly as it was meant to be. Shout out to BandCamp too for looking out for us independent artists like that and giving us better control over how our music is shared and distributed, because a lot of these streaming services are really screwing this up for the artists; but until we can change things we’re kind of stuck in the position we’re in because you can’t really make it as an independent artist without using online streaming services these days, which is a total bummer, but we have to deal with it. Luckily we have some work arounds and some tricks we keep in our back pockets for situations like these. But yeah, that’s a secret I’m happy to share with our fans.”
While we patiently wait for the new LP to be released, these two new EPs should hopefully keep us busy enough until it finally drops. “I’m sorry it’s taking so long, guys, but thanks for sticking with it. Trust me, we’re in the final phases, but we’re not going to release it if it isn’t quite ready. There’s just a few more tracks we have to tweak and work out some of the kinks, but trust me, it’ll be worth the wait.” Meanwhile, at NewType Music, we hope our fans are satisfied with this newest project release, and look forward to our next press release when the LP is ready to be released.
